Hi Vernon

Thank you for everything that you did to enable and make the Internment of Ashes  Service to go so well for (...) and for the family.

We enjoyed and appreciated the way that you took the Urn from the Altar and the way that you placed it in the hole which (...) had dug. On both occasions you did this with  just the right kind of bow & with genuine dignity, love and respect.

When I said to (...) that I preferred non black ties on these occasions it was not  a criticism of yourself! Or anybody else! There can be no doubt that those who take part in the Service must follow the dress code!

It was very good to see that you are a Church Warden at St Nicholas Church Porlock Weir!

Thank you for all that you did, for taking us down to the Church & back  and for coming to the Refreshments. It was good to think of you walking your dog afterwards!

With warmest regards & best wishes

God bless.... (...)

Dear Vernon,

I would like to thank you and Grant for all your kindness and help following my father's death, and for guiding me through the uncharted waters of arranging a funeral.

It all worked extremely well, and was a true celebration of my father's long life. Despite my sadness at his death I have very happy memories of the funeral day. Everyone played their part to perfection, the flowers, the organ music, the Order of Service, the service itself, the Lorna Doone afterwards.

I really appreciate your quiet and efficient work behind the scenes bringing all the strands together.
